Mexico 'Cartel boss' delivered

The cartel, now weakened once controlled much of the drugs from the Northern Mexican Tijuana in the United States River.

Prosecutors say, that Mr Arellano Felix, 59, led the cartel criminal and financial operations.

He will face trial in a Federal Court in San Diego, California.

Family business

Mr. Arellano Felix in United States Mexican authorities gave federal officials on Friday.

Its height is also known as the Arellano Felix Organization for the family, the Tijuana cartel, thought to have been the main supplier of cocaine and marijuana in the United States.

Benjamin Arellano Felix is accused of leading the cartel from 1989 until his arrest in 2002 his drug trafficking operations supervision and the kidnapping and assassination of rival traffickers, informers and members of the security forces.

He is also with a view at the expense of money laundering.

After Benjamin Arellano Felix arrested in Mexico in 2002 his younger brother Francisco is believed, the leadership of the cartel 2006 took until his own arrest in the year.

Another brother, Eduardo, it is assumed that the reins for the next two years have taken over in 2008 until his capture.

Mexican authorities believe that the cartel now by a sister, Enedina Arellano Felix, and her son, Luis Fernando Sánchez Arellano is running.

Ramon Arellano Felix, the most of the brothers, was in 2002 in a shootout with the police killed.

Mexican security forces say that cartel is severely weakened, and has taken over much of its turf rival gangs.
