Qian Liu a man was calculated for dead in her apartment in Toronto University student whose last Momente were attested in custody over the killing of a Toronto by her friend in China via webcam a short trial remains found.Brian Dickson, 29, was charged with murder first degree in the death of Qian Liu, 23-year-old student from China earlier this month.
Mr Dickson had his court appearance on Tuesday via video conference.
MS Liu was found dead hours after an intruder interrupted their Web chat.
An autopsy could not show as Ms. Liu, a student at York University died, and police have said there could be some more weeks until the results of the toxicological tests are known.
The authorities have released not much information about their deaths or possible motives in the case.
'Maintains innocence'Steven Krys, Mr Dickson said the lawyer, it was early in the procedure and the prosecution was still collecting facts and evidence in the case.
Mr Dickson, in an orange prison State, is not entered yet suit for his appearance via video from a local prison a plea, but Mr Krys said that his client would deny the charges.
"He steadfastly claimed his innocence," said Mr Krys.
MS Liu and her boyfriend were chat as a man at about 0100 local time (0500 GMT) on 15 April, the friend unknown asking knocked Liu's cell phone at the door to Ms use.
She let him in her basement flat and a battle followed for a few minutes while the friend in horror watched, it was announced by the police. The webchat has been shut down, and Ms. Liu IBM apparently laptop and webcam from the apartment.
MS Liu was found dead the next morning. Her body was naked from the waist down but investigators said, they found had no obvious signs of sexual assault and not obviously trauma which could have caused her death.
